Book a punting tour

Punting in Cambridge is the best way to explore this ancient city and is like a trip through time. You drift down the river in an old fashioned punt and your guide explains the history and jokes about all the bridges and colleges as you go.

At Cambridge Punters our tours are led by students, locals and raconteurs who know and love the River Cam and spend much of their waking hours up and down it. We can take you on a tour through the formation of the University and colleges and give you a day you'll never forget.

What will a punt tour cost you?

It depends. We're the cheapest company around but prices for punting depend on how many of you there are, how long you want to go for and whether it's a week day or on a week end.

Average prices work out at around 8-10 pounds per adult for an hour tour with a minimum price of 50 pounds. Bear in mind most companies only offer a 45 minute tour and are very strict with their time keeping. We're more interested in making sure you have a good time.
